Editor’s note: In partnership with YPIA, we are especially delighted to share this with our readers.
In 2012, Young People in International Affairs (YPIA) embarked on a search for the top 35 young African leaders in international affairs under the age of 35 and found unbelievable individuals and stories. Last year, we looked and found young foreigners making an impact in Africa. This year, 2014, we are once again looking for young Africans under the age of 35 doing extraordinary things.
And once again these individuals will be broken down into the fields of politics, business, media, education, academia, community development, science and technology. To nominate yourself or another person, complete the form located below by Monday 31 March 2014.
To qualify, the nominee must meet the following conditions:
Be a citizen of an African country.
Excelling in their respective field and area of expertise.
Making a substantial impact in one or more African countries on critical African issues and international affairs.
Recognized among colleagues and the broader community as a leader/future leader who is dedicated to helping the African continent.
Values ethics and human rights.
Young People in International Affairs (YPIA) is an African NGO educating and promoting young African leadership through events, training and publications.
