Charlie Rose interviewed Robert Gates, the former Secretary of Defense under both George W. Bush and President Barack Obama, on the campus of William and Mary where Mr. Gates was recently named the 24th Chancellor of that prestigious Virginian university. The interview was comprehensive and covered everything from the surge in Iraq ordered while Gates was still the Secretary of Defense to the raid that resulted in Osama bin Laden’s death in Abbottabad, Pakistan.

IAEA Delegation Arrives in Iran to Discuss Nuclear Program

A delegation of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) arrived in Iran to discuss the Islamic Republic’s controversial nuclear program, the Iranian media reported on Sunday. Iran’s Envoy to the IAEA Ali Ashgar Soltanieh said last week that a delegation of the UN nuclear watchdog would visit Iran on January 29-31 “to negotiate and discuss issues raised by the IAEA.”

Despite coming in third in the Iowa caucuses last Tuesday, behind Mitt Romney and Rick Santorum, Ron Paul is polling at second place at 18 percent behind the former governor of Massachusetts. Romney is currently polling at 40 percent, with former Senator Rick Santorum polling a distant third at 11 percent, according to a Suffolk University/7 News two-day tracking poll of likely voters in New Hampshire.
